FAQs About our Botox & Dermal Filler Training Courses

Who can attend the course?

iDental's facial aesthetics training courses are aimed exclusively at doctors / surgeons, dentists, nurses, and midwives. We allow final year medical and dental students to attend the course too, but they are not able to prescribe their own product or practice independently until they receive their GMC/GDC number, and are therefore able to obtain medico-legal indemnity.

Which qualifications will I receive?

For each one-day course, one certificate is attained, that is relevant to the title and content of the specific course. It is with this certificate, that you are able to both obtain medical legal indemnity/insurance against malpractice, which is a legal requirement for those practicing facial injectable treatments, and apply to pharmacies to purchase the relevant products.

Will I be ready to treat paying clients after the course?

Yes absolutely! Feedback from all our delegates has reflected that their knowledge and confidence is high, with them feeling ready to inject immediately following the course. However, if you feel as though you require additional support after the course is complete, Dr Rahul Kukar takes on the responsibility as a lifelong commitment to ensure that all the needs of his delegates are met.

Incredible theoretical teaching, supplemented by fantastic hands on practical using human subjects - highly recommended! Dr Sunil Kaura (General dentist and implant surgeon)

What is included in the fees?

Our fees are inclusive of the injectable products used and your insurance to inject on the day, our literature and coursebooks, and access to the online "delegates area" in order to download all the useful forms and documents required to start practising independently. A buffet lunch and all day refreshments are provided.

Which products are used on the course, and do we inject on live human models?

At iDental, we will use genuine Botulinum Toxin products (Bocouture) and live human models for each delegate to complete their first practical case on, during the hands on session.

What is your cancellation policy?

A full refund can be obtained with a 7 day notice. Dr Kukar operates on a relaxed and flexible basis, and so in the event of any mitigating circumstances, will ensure that the delegate's requirements are met and the course be cancelled, or rescheduled, as the delegate wishes.

Many Thanks for today. Your presentation was extremely professional and informative and the key points were well delivered Tony Quastel (general medical practitioner)

If I'm not confident, is there a refresher course?

Yes - although we expect everyone to be confident on graduation, you would be more than welcome to re-attend a course for refreshment purposes. Please contact rahul@idental-london.com for further information. You may also contact Dr Rahul Kukar for unlimited ongoing support after course completion.

Will the course count towards my CPD requirements?

Yes, the hours spent in teaching on the facial aesthetics courses will contribute towards your veritable CPD requirements, supported with the official certification.

How big are the teaching groups?

The size of the teaching groups varies between 2-5 delegates. Dr Rahul Kukar believes in providing a fast, efficient and personal service as he believes this benefits his delegates in the long term.

Excellent course delivered succinctly, in a delightful setting, surpassed only by the superb, gold standard practical teaching - a perfect cocktail for success and significant value in my practicing career Dr Tehmur Tariq (Restorative dental surgeon)

Why is each course one day long, as opposed to the format of a combined course?

Some courses try to cover botulinum toxin and dermal filler treatment, or the foundation and advanced courses in one day - we feel that in order for the delegate to receive the most detailed theoretical teaching, combined with meticulous practical supervision and nurturing, that one course should occupy no less than 8 hours of teaching time.

Do I need to bring anything with me to the course?

No, just yourself. All else will be provided for you on the day.
